3M Scotchkote 323i is a two part system designed to protect steel pipe and other metal surfaces from the harsh effects of corrosion. It can be applied to substrates as cold as 5°C (41°F), and can be applied by cartridge, brush, roller, HSS or plural component spray.

3M Scotchkote 323i are resistant to damage by acids and bases in the pH range of 2 to 14. It is also resistant to hydrocarbons such as crude oil, motor oil, gasoline, and many solvents. Testing is suggested if the coating is to be used in continual contact with oxidising agents such as sodium hypochlorite (bleach) and aggressive solvents such as methyl ketone (MEK)
