The Denso™ range comprises of a variety of specialised pipe & structural coatings, marine protection systems, including tapes, brush and spray applied liquid coatings, mastics, primers and sealants based on materials such as petrolatum, butyl rubber bitumen, plastics and epoxy resin. Systems are tailor-made for individual anti-corrosion and sealing problems developed with the realities of an on site application in mind.
We hold the broadest range and very high volumes of stock, with the best technical and QA support in the UK for Protal™ 7300 paint for National Grid projects and a wide range of putties, tapes, primers and pastes for the water industry, ready for delivery (or collection at our Midlands depot). Our Denso™ dedicated Training Centre can help operatives achieve Denso™ supported training on P1 and P2 applications with hands on experience using Protal 7300™ too for National grid and other gas network suppliers.

Denso Profiling Mastic
A cold applied, self-supporting mastic for moulding around irregular shaped fittings such as mechanical joints and valves to provide a suitable profile for applying anti-corrosion tapes.
Denso Tape
A conformable, cold-applied fabric tape designed to provide excellent corrosion protection of pipes.
Densoclad 50 / Densoclad 70 Designed to protect pipes, welded joints, bends and fittings. 50 is medium-duty, for small/medium pipes. 70 is heavy-duty, for medium/large pipes.

3) Apply Denso™ Profiling Mastic to the joint
4) Apply Denso™ Tape to the joint, wrapped with a 55% overlap

Denso Steelcoat Systems
Denso Steelcoat 200 System
The Denso Steelcoat 200 System comprises a polymer backed petrolatum tape (Denso Hotline Tape) and a high temperature mastic for sealing fittings in awkward shapes (Densoseal 16A). No primer is required.
The system is designed to protect copper, iron or steel pipes that run at high temperatures, up to 110°C maximum (90°C if the pipe is buried), located above ground in ducts or set in concrete.
Denso Steelcoat 300 System
The Denso Steelcoat 300 System comprises a grey petrolatum tape which is ideally suited for small to medium diameter pipes. No primer is necessary and application by hand or wrapping machine is quick and easy.
Denso Steelcoat 400 System
The Denso Steelcoat 400 System comprising deep penetrating primer (Denso Penetrating Primer), an easily-applied layer fabric-backed tape (Denso Ultraseal Tape) and a topcoat (Denso Acrylic Topcoat). The final topcoat can be reinforced with a selected reinforcing scrim (Denso D5 or Denso D10 Scrim) for sections of steelwork or pipework which require additional impact resistance.
Denso Protal Products
Denso Protal 7300
A VOC free, 100% solids epoxy coating specially formulated to coat the dry, damp, or wet exterior surfaces of pipelines, structures of other steel surfaces as a result of the environment or atmospheric condensation.
Protal ARO
A VOC free, 100% solids liquid epoxy coating formulated for application over FBE as an abrasion resistant overlay coating (ARO). It can be used to protect FBE mainline coatings for directional drilling, bores, river crossings and other rough terrain applications.

Denso Tapes & Overwraps
Denso Glass Outerwrap
A plastic backed petrolatum tape designed to protect buried copper, iron or steel pipes operating at elevated service temperatures, up to 90°C.
Densopol Tape 60/80/HT
Designed for application by hand or machine to buried or submerged pipelines for the protection of welded joints on coated pipe, bends, fittings and more.
Denso PVC Self-Adhesive Tape
A PVC sheeting coated on one side with a rubber resin pressure sensitive adhesive.
Denso Bore-Wrap
Denso Bore-Wrap is an Abrasion Resistant Outerwrap (ARO) creating an abrasion resistant, sacrificial outer laminate protecting field joint coatings and pipeline coatings such as Denso Protal 7300, shrink sleeves, 3LPE, 3LPP and FBE.
HoldTight™ 102
HoldTight™ 102 is an additive that prevents flash rusting of wet abrasive and water-blasted iron and steel surfaces and of dry-blasted surfaces in a pressurised wash down. HoldTight™ 102 Flash rust inhibitor & salt remover is approved by most major coating suppliers for use with most coatings.
Denso Primer D
Denso Primer D is a fast-drying primer that maintains surface cleanliness of the pipe prior to tape application. It is a specialised primer designed for use with the Denso pipe-wrapping tapes, which improves cathodic disbondment resistance, and dries rapidly even in cool conditions.

Mastics & Pastes
Densostrip
A cold applied preformed sealing strip based on bitumen for sealing joints between precast concrete units used for manholes, box culverts, pipes and tunnel segments.
Densoseal 16A
A no setting, self supporting mastic which may be applied to wet surfaces and will seal ducts and conduits against ingress of gas and water.
Denso Paste
A petrolatum-based compound used for the preparation of metal surfaces, particularly prior to the application of Denso petrolatum tapes.
Denso Void Filler Type I
A specially formulated petrolatum compound for pumping hot or cold, to fill the space in-between tendons, cables, or ducts where it forms a semi-solid paste that encapsulates the cable.
