The Denso Steelcoat Soil Air Interface System is used to protect the section of pipe that rises from below to above ground in elevated temperatures. A section of at least 500 mm above and 500 mm below ground should be protected.
The system comprises a double layer of Denso Hotline Tape followed by a double layer of a Denso Glass Outerwrap. A layer of Denso Clear Outerwrap is then applied to help the Denso Glass Outerwrap to cure. After removal of the Denso Clear Outerwrap, the system is completed by the application of an approved painted topcoat.
